Ivy Chimneys Citizens

I was very fortunate to be shown the draft version of these posters last week, and here they are duly completed and looking fabulous.

I'm particularly interested in the words both Nina and Olivia have used to describe pupils who attend our school? I wonder if these might become useful when we talk about a set of Core Values for the school.

I'm really pleased to see your finished work. Very well done girls and do have a well deserved half term holiday!

Listening to Bay reading

I was delighted to have a visit from Bay this afternoon who wanted to share her reading book with me. I had mentioned in Achievement Assembly that I would like to hear her read and so here she is!

Bay's reading is so amazing that I've uploaded it for everyone to hear.

Well done and I hope you will pop back soon to read to me some more.

I was delighted to visit Willow class and to look at Joshua's drawing and explanation of seed dispersal.

This is fantastic, particularly your illustration of seed dispersal.

Well done!

Bronson and his fabulous WW2 project

Really impressed to listen to Bronson talking about his project work on WW2. Your recount of your visit to Royal Gunpowder Mills is amazing.

Bronson is clearly very proud of his achievements and has explained the things he has learnt very well.

Well done and keep it up!

Learning about 2D shapes!

Wow - I'm so impressed by both boys and their understanding of 2D shapes.

Vinnie and Joshua been able to describe the features of the shapes on their page. Lots of interesting facts learnt about sides, angles (vertices) and their names!

Well done!
