Elia and Erin have brought their outstanding work to show me this afternoon. They both worked together on developing a snowy scene with speech bubbles and dialogue from each of the characters.

This beginning then turned into writing a Winter Poem each. The poems are simply lovely with some brilliant ideas!

A Soldiers Pocket!

Amy wasn't feeling too well yesterday but appears to have 'worked her socks off' at home.

Amy has put together a range of artefacts that may have been found in a WW2 soldiers pocket! Included is a picture of his wife, a letter written to him from his wife and two children and a kit list!

Amy has even tried hard to make them look old and dated. Very authentic!

Well done Amy!

Wonderful Writing

I am truly delighted by the writing from Katie who has worked with Mrs McKenzie to produce a superb extract of her own story.

You can read Katie's extract online on our blog site!

Ivy Chimneys Citizens

I was very fortunate to be shown the draft version of these posters last week, and here they are duly completed and looking fabulous.

I'm particularly interested in the words both Nina and Olivia have used to describe pupils who attend our school? I wonder if these might become useful when we talk about a set of Core Values for the school.

I'm really pleased to see your finished work. Very well done girls and do have a well deserved half term holiday!
